Apprentices

I have been having apprentices in my workshop since 2010 when I was approached by a ‘Young German Potter on a Journey’. Frauke Abel (www.fraukeramik.de/) came for a few months and opened up the possibility of having people here to learn and work. Since then I have had a dozen young ( and not so young) people working with me from all over the world.
It is a win/win situation. They learn about porcelain, making skills and vapour glazing and I have help with production.

Currently I am open to someone coming here from early 2020.
If you are interested in exploring this opportunity, please email me at info@maggygardiner.com
